Frequently asked questions

What does a celebrant do?
A celebrant creates and leads personal ceremonies – wedding ceremonies, funerals, baby welcome ceremonies or anniversaries – independent of church and registry office. The speech and the ceremony are tailored entirely to the people they are about.
Do you hold ceremonies in English?
Yes! As a trained interpreter I am happy to hold your ceremony in English, German or bilingually – Russian, Portuguese and Turkish are also possible as a second language. Perfect for international couples and families.
How much does a celebrant cost?
A wedding ceremony costs €1,250, a funeral service €600, a baby welcome ceremony €750 and an anniversary celebration from €750 – all details on the prices page. The first consultation is always free.
Is a celebrant-led wedding legally binding?
No – a celebrant-led ceremony does not replace the civil marriage at the registry office. It is the festive, personal ceremony where you say "I do" in front of your loved ones – without legal effect, but with all the more emotional meaning.
Which regions do you cover?
Mainly Vienna, Lower Austria and the Linz area in Upper Austria. Travel within 60 km of Leopoldsdorf im Marchfeld and 60 km of Linz is already included in the price. Other regions of Austria on request.

Let's get to know each other!

The first conversation is free and completely non-binding. Tell me about your occasion – I look forward to hearing from you!
